Omnos is an AI-driven property assessment platform that uses LiDAR to deliver fast, accurate loss estimates, all from your iPhone. Chris Luiz spoke with CEO Josue Cristopher Blanco about how Omnos is modernizing the claims process and transforming property insurance.

Who are your clients?
Omnos is built for everyone who deals with property, from adjusters and restoration firms to homeowners and interior designers. We’re already working with partners like Restoration Geeks in Orlando and several roofing companies in Miami, with new collaborations in progress across Florida. Whether it’s a homeowner who needs a quick measurement or a professional managing complex jobs, Omnos makes the process simple, fast, and accurate.
What does your product do?
Omnos turns an iPhone into a complete property-assessment system. Using AI and LiDAR, it scans any space in seconds, producing verified measurements and actionable estimates.
Was the company born from within or outside the insurance industry?
Omnos was born from inside the industry itself. My co-founder and I spent years working claims in Florida, Texas, and Colorado, seeing up close how inefficient and outdated the process had become. The idea came from wanting to modernize those workflows and make damage assessment faster, more accurate, and transparent.
What growth metrics have you accomplished over the last 12 months?
Our biggest growth metric hasn’t been downloads or revenue yet; it’s traction. Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen strong engagement from insurance adjusters, roofers, general contractors, EMS companies, and even interior design firms, all drawn to how simple and seamless Omnos feels in their workflow. That level of organic interest ahead of launch has been a clear validation of what we’re building.
Within your domain, what is the current challenge the industry is facing?
The biggest challenge is the industry’s reliance on outdated, manual workflows. Property claims still depend on in-person site visits, long travel times, and handwritten or pieced-together estimates. After catastrophic events, that system collapses under pressure, leaving homeowners waiting weeks or even months for assessments that could be done in minutes with modern tools.
How does Omnos take a unique approach to providing value?
Omnos empowers homeowners directly. No strangers walking through your home, no vague estimates, no waiting weeks for answers. It’s built on trust, transparency, and verified data — real numbers backed by licensed professionals who can actually do the work.
What inspired you to start the company?
It just didn’t make sense. The inefficiencies, the outdated platforms, the way the entire process still operates on standards from 1989 — it’s all the same. In over seven years of working in this industry, especially after the pandemic, I’ve seen almost no real innovation. That’s what pushed me to build Omnos. The technology already exists, LiDAR, AI, automation; it was just a matter of putting it in the hands of the people who need it most.
Can you share any goals for the next 12 months?
Over the next 12 months, our focus is on releasing Phase I of Omnos, supporting our current partnerships and waitlist users while gathering feedback to refine the platform. From there, we’ll expand to reach individual users — architects, adjusters, and homeowners — who need a simple but powerful tool to capture their properties in seconds. At the same time, we’ll be developing Phase II, which builds on everything we’ve learned to deliver even more intelligent automation and accuracy.
